How to connect

After you have created your InfoTrack account, the next step is connecting it to Smokeball.
For Smokeball desktop users
Step 1
Open Smokeball and select the Settings icon from the top right. Then, select the Integrated Services tab from the left-hand panel. Click Configure next to the InfoTrack option.
Step 2
Select the Authorize option and enter the username and password you selected when creating your InfoTrack account. Click Authorize.
Step 3
Ticking all the permissions boxes will ensure that all searches ordered are saved back into your matter, and expenses are captured under the Expenses tab.
Close the InfoTrack window and your settings will be saved.
For Smokeball web users
Step 1
Open the web version of Smokeball and navigate to the left-hand menu. Select Matters, then open any any matter.
Step 2
From the tabs on the top of your Matter view, click on InfoTrack: File and Serve.
Step 3
In the browser window below, read and accept InfoTrack’s Terms of Service, then click the Connect to InfoTrack button.
InfoTrack should launch in the browser window below and automatically create your user account.
